This
year we made it to the pumpkin festival on the Sunday as Eloisa’s Christening
was the day before. Since Katriina was coming to the christening, we also were
able to convince her to come to the pumpkin festival too. It was nice that we
had someone else to share the fun with. The only damper on the day (yes that is
a pun) is the fact that it was raining “cats and dogs”. I think that it has
been a fairly rainy early autumn this year…that would also explain why the
pumpkins were so green compared to last year’s pumpkins. There was the same fun
this year except that it was a nice change since the ride was different and
there was a little café open in one of the old buildings that is usually just
for show. So we went in there and Bella had a pulla (as usual for her). Taneli
took on the job of driving Eloisa around while we were there so she could nap.
