Up up up

So Bella's newest favourite phrase...up-up-up. She wants to get up on everything- the couch, the beds, the chairs and each time she nicely asks...up-up-up. I guess it isn't really a question, more of a demand but phrased so cutely that you can't say no. I made a little video...well it is quite long (about 3 mins) this evening and a little of it is her saying up-up-up just so that you can see. She has a little bit of a fever this evening...returning from Friday I think but that didn't stop her being all crazy before bed!

The only constant is Dora

Well, the title says it all...there has been so much
going on here the past month that the only constant in our lives is the endless hours of Dora the Explorer. Whether it is in book form or on DVD.
In the past month, I have started my new job which is full time but I am also still teaching for quite a few weeks yet. So I haven't been home with Bella but she has been lucky enough to get her Aunty Elisa to look after her. So Elisa comes everyday after I have already left and takes care of Bella. It doesn't seem to have fazed her at all (not that I want it to but a little show of emotion that I am not here all the time would be nice!) But as for Bella, there haven't been any really interesting things happening. She hasn't had any Dr or midwife appts or been sick. It has all been pretty good with no trouble.

On the day of the last post, all that time ago, it was Isabella's name day here in Finland. I made her a card...and I decided to put a picture of Dora in it just so that she would give it the time of day...a cheap trick but it worked like a charm!

On her name day we also went to the open day care and she wore this dress for the first time...I think that it cost me about 1 euro from a second hand market but it is really quite nice.

One thing that Isabella can't seem to get enough of is climbing in things. She of course can get herself in but hasn't always thought through the exit process so that can cause a few tears every once in a while. Most times you will just find whatever was in the box flung out but you will also see her inside with the stuff still in it.

Close to the end of February Isabella and I visited my friend Irena again and again she was lovely enough to take some lovely photos of Bella. Here she is showing us that she knows where her mouth and nose is...I am not sure why but she always has to put her finger right down her throat and make herself gag to prove she knows where her mouth is! The last shows just how important Dora is!

The last few days Isabella has been able to say peek-a-boo...but as usual it all depends on her mood. I have a video that is slightly long but she gets there in the end...
