These two photos are her first day...the one in the pink jacket is her getting ready to leave the house...and the second one...the cheeky one...is of Isabella eating some rocks. Taneli said that she made this face when he said "ei saa"(which means "don't") and she laughed. She always laughs and repeats "ei saa" when he says it...I don't think that she quite gets that Finnish word yet because she doesn't do that when I say don't in English...

These next photos are from when I went also. She still was eating rocks...not sure if or when that will end... :-S But she also flung some sand around...lucky enough not to get any in her eyes but she kept trying. We were very lucky with the timing because it was lovely weather- very sunny all three days.
Her first REAL day at day care...

The report we got for the first day was good. I was very sceptical about her ability to sleep since she normally sleeps in a nice silent, dark room...and there it is neither. There are about 15 kids at the day care and they are in one room. So they said that Bella would get up and try to start talking to others. But she soon settled down and was able to sleep about an hour and 20 mins (at home it is sometimes up to 3 hours). They also mentioned that she is very curious about everything. They also said that she did try to look for me and asked for Mama...but they quickly distracted her with toys.Day two...This is the day that Taneli had to take her in the morning...and it seems that when they arrived, as soon as her jacket and shoes were off, she zoomed into the playroom and didn't say goodbye to him either. But I think that it might have hit her later that she was stuck there because she did cry a little asking for Dada. Poor Bella. So I think that it was good for her to have just two days and then time at home. Then next week will be a long one for her...and us. As she is really tired in the evenings. Hopefully she will begin to sleep longer during the day.
