Easter trip to the UK

March 27- April 2nd 3rd

March 27th- We left for the UK to visit my mom. Unfortunately Eloisa got sick at some point during the night so the flight was a nightmare. Poor girl was so stuffed up that I can only imagine how much flying hurt. As usual Isabella was a star. She is such a good flyer. Never complains very much, doesn't kick the seat in front of her and always helps when I ask. A great travel companion. I really hope that there is a time that I will be able to take her somewhere we can do some good together.

March 28th- We visited Margaret and Fred today. It was the first time that they have met Eloisa and it went really well. She was good despite her illness.

Bella took this photo of Fred and Stephen...not bad!
Friday, March 29th- Because today is a holiday we were able to go around and do some visiting. We went to visit Aunty Margaret and Clara  Both of these wonderful women are between the ages of 85 and 92…but I am not sure exactly how old they are. They got money from one and chocolates from the other!

Sunday, March 31st- Today we went to Heather’s house for an Easter hunt. It wasn't an egg hunt so I didn't want to call it that but there was lots of chocolate involved. Bella had so much fun. Every time she goes to Heather’s house she has so much fun with other Isabella and Noah.  This time she was able to participate in the creation of an epic fort. She doesn't often get to create something so physical. She also got to “play” little sister and I think that she really liked that.  We all went out for lunch- which was lovely- then headed back to Heather’s to play more!
The snow on the Moors- there were huge snow drifts!

Monday, April 1st- So we never took advantage of April Fool’s Day while at my mom's but we didn't really need it with all the very early mornings that we had been subjecting her to J Today we decided to go up to Skipton to meet up with my friend Raygan. She is in the UK visiting from Japan. We were able to have a bit of a day trip.

Tuesday, April 2nd- Today we were supposed to go home but for the first time ever in my life. I woke up at 4:30am with a really bad pain in my sides and abdomen. It was my infection returning! It was so bad that we had to go to Emergency. And that meant that we missed the flight. After I left the hospital we then had the fun of organising later flights. We weren't able to take the later flight because they didn't have any availability so we will take the same flight tomorrow.
